Finalist products and services will be on display during Outdoor Retailer and Outdoor Design + Innovation this summer, and winners will be announced during Day 2 of the show<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO, California<\/strong> \u2013 (May 23, 2024) \u2013 Outdoor Retailer announced the finalists today for the sixth annual Outdoor Retailer Innovation Awards. An independent panel of expert judges evaluated 137 total entries to determine the 34 finalists which include innovative new products for outdoor activities, sustainable materials, and retail programs and services. All finalists will be on display in the Innovation Gallery during Outdoor Retailer and Outdoor Design + Innovation Summer from June 17-19, 2024, in the Salt Palace Convention Center in Salt Lake City, and the winners will be unveiled at a reception on Tuesday, June 18 during the show.<\/p>\n

\u201cCongratulations to the finalists of this year\u2019s Outdoor Retailer Innovation Awards! We\u2019re excited to recognize these cutting-edge new products and services, and to celebrate all the work that brought each from concept to market,\u201d said Sean Smith, Outdoor Retailer show director. \u201cThese innovations are improving outdoor recreation, introducing more sustainable solutions, and evolving the outdoor retail landscape. And we\u2019re thrilled that all attendees at the Summer show will have an opportunity to see the new products up close in the Innovation Gallery. The panel of judges rated all entries based on four criteria to determine the finalists: Spark: concept, design, appeal; Desire: opportunity, differentiation; Function: innovation, functionality, insight; and Impact: cultural, environmental, business. The panel will now reset their scoring to evaluate the finalists and determine this year\u2019s winners.<\/p>\n
